Match Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to the current ground conditions and with yet more rain forecast over the next couple of days and into the weekend, I have taken the decision to cancel the 2019 North East Hants Ploughing Match scheduled for 20th October.

I would like to thank all those who have put in so much effort to organise, prepare and sponsor this event and not least all of our competitors who were preparing to turn out on the day.

We look forward to seeing you all at the 2020 Match in blazing sunshine!

By coincidence the 2018 Reserve and Champion ploughmen, Peter Crockford and Derek Allen, were in adjacent plots and were neck and neck as they worked towards their respective finishes and their Lunch.
